I used wemoveanynarrowboat – Jo and Stuart, to move a new boat in stages. A very difficult job in winter with stoppages, terrible weather and diesel tank problems and they did a truly fantastic job. From initial contact to final hand over they were everything I could hope for. They were great at communication and a perfect balance of friendly and professional. I was nervous handing over my new boat to strangers at first but once you speak and meet them that turns to complete confidence and it is not misplaced. They made exceptional time in challenging conditions and kept me up to date at every stage. The price charged was extremely reasonable – particularly compared to the cost for moving it myself. They handed the boat back with everything cleaned, anything used replaced and they even did a few repair jobs! If you need a narrow boat moved then you could not hope for a better service than that provided by Jo and Stuart, and I wouldn’t have the slightest hesitation in recommending them.
Mr D J Lewis
Dear Jo & Stuart,
Just wanted to thank you for the wonderful job you did for me, when you moved my boat (potter about) from Whilton Marina back to its mooring in Stourbridge.
I know you must move boats all the time, but I was very impressed with your friendly service, it was so nice to get a daily progress report and the way you tested the pumps and other systems on board for me.
It is just so nice to meet two genuine people that do, what they say they are going to do.
I would not hesitate to use your service again, or recommend you to my friends.
Dear Stu, Jo & Little Fudge
Thank you once again for moving Dignity from Nantwich to Kings Orchard Marina for me. You were recommended to me by the Swanley Marina – I had no idea how I was going to bring my new purchase back to Lichfield and Denise suggested that I contact you, given their positive experiences using your services.
Your emails were reassuring your day rate was very reasonable, and when I met you on your boat you were just lovely and I knew that my “ship” was in good hands.
The texts each evening meant I could follow your 75 mile journey – one I hope to take myself one day. It was exciting to meet you again the following weekend with Dignity moored next to Norma Jean.
Stuarts advice about a few small things I needed to do to Dignity given your experience over a five day period was really helpful – as was him finding where to put water in! you left her in such a clean condition, there was no signs that you had ever been on board, other than my ‘Captains Log’ being filled in as requested.
I would recommend wemoveanynarrowboat.com to anyone who wanted a boat moved, whether they are experienced or a complete novice like me. I am sure I will use you again in the future if I want to take a trip a little bit further afield and you could take Dignity part way on the journey for me to save me some time. More importantly, I hope we will meet up again soon as boating friends – I know you are at the end of a phone if I need you !
Good luck with your future moves. Your business model and lifestyle is a great one,
With love and best wishes,
Jason & Julie Gutteridge
Dear Stuart and Jo,
I would just like to thank you for delivering ‘Trundle’.
You are both very friendly and it was lovely to meet you both. I would highly recommend you to anyone who needed their boat moving.
You kept us informed every day of your progress which was very much appreciated, and also gave us useful advice as it was our first boat, you both have a knowledge and experience.
We will keep in touch with you both and hopefully see you all soon on our travels.
Once again thank you both very much for your excellent service.
